Pests like rodents and termites can thrive in old, uncared for sporting equipment. Your old tennis shoes left in a corner to gather dust can become a rodent’s home. Thus, you should find time to dispose of these items, or at least clean and store them properly.
Additionally, sport arenas can be great places for pests because of the presence of garbage and clutter. Soccer and baseball fields can be dominated by weeds. Inasmuch as athletes are particular about health, they should compete, practice, or perform in an environment that is free from pest infestation. Faecal matter from most rats and roaches can cause various infections and diseases, endangering the health of not only the players, but also their fans. No organism, be it an unwanted animal, insect, or plant, should be allowed to flourish in such areas.
